Abnormal male breast formation is common in puberty but most resolve within two years. Occasionally there are hormonal or drug causes but most of the time we don’t know what causes it.
I use a combination of ultrasonic liposuction, short scar direct excision and if needed skin reduction to correct the deformity.
Compression garments are essential – therefore you may wish to schedule surgery for the cooler months.
