Dr Mark Lee’s ongoing work with Operation Smile has been featured in an article in the Sunday Mail published on 20th August 2014.
Operation Smile is an international non-for-profit surgical group aiming to perform life-changing plastic and re-constructive surgeries in third world countries. Dr Mark Lee was part of a team of 25 Australian volunteers which visited remote areas of Cambodia to perform volunteer surgeries. Dr Mark Lee spent a week and a half performing the surgeries on both adults and children with cleft lip, cleft palate, and burns.
