Abdominoplasty (tummy tuck)

Abdominoplasty (tummy tuck)

Pregnancy and childbirth can severely stretch the central abdominal muscles, resulting in a permanent pot belly that may not improve even in the fittest and most toned women. Adbominoplasty aims to restore the position of the central muscles, which can dramatically improve profile. There is usually excess skin and possibly stretch marks which can also be excised during an abdominoplasty.

We are increasingly seeing people who have lost large amounts of weight due to stomach banding surgery. Weight loss can also result in unsightly excess skin remaining over the arms, thighs and neck which can be removed with procedures such as brachioplasty (arms), thigh reduction and platysmaplasty (neck).

The following Abdominoplasty procedures are available:
  • Radical Abdominoplasty
  • Mini (Short Scar) Abdominoplasty
  • Post Caesarean Abdominoplasty
  • Post Lap Banding Abdominoplasty
  • Liposuction Abdominoplasty
